Ezekiel 36
26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.
I heard a pastor once describe salvation as a heart transplant not a heart by-pass. God takes our old heart and completely removes this heart of stone. He gives us a new heart.
When the cake foundation was crumbling (see the last blog), I had no choice but to remove the soft sections and put back in the sections that would make a firm foundation.
When our foundation crumbles, it’s God that takes out our unusable pieces and replaces them with pieces equipped for His purposes. We may see the crumbling mess, but he sees the potential for what we can be.
Dear God, take from us our crumbling messes and give us Your firm foundation.
