Genesis 1:1: In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
Did you know that the verb used in Genesis to describe God’s creation is never applied to humans? It’s a true “something from nothing” creation. Only God as creator (Elohim) can take nothing and transform it into something. We began with paper, paint, and a paintbrush. He spoke it into existence.
